ULUS miniaturas de José María Bolio
José María Bolio nació en la Ciudad de México el 16 de noviembre de 1966. Escultor egresado del “Istituto Lorenzo de Medici” en Florencia Italia, Socio activo del IPMS México desde 1989 y miniaturista profesional a partir de 1992.
Recientemente fue reconocido por el International Guild of Miniature Artisans como "Artesano".
Al través de su trayectoria ha participado en más de 25 concursos de modelismo, tanto nacionales como en Estados Unidos y el Reino Unido.
También ha participado en diversas exposiciones de miniaturas organizadas por la Asociación Mexicana de Miniaturistas A.C. de la cual es miembro regular. En el extranjero en convenciones organizadas por: CIMTA (Cottage Industry Miniaturists Trade Association Inc.), IGMA (International Guild of Miniature Artisans Ltd.), Tom Bishop’s Chicago International y Philadelphia Miniaturia.
Su trabajo ha sido publicado en revistas especializadas como son: el "Miniature Collector" en Estados Unidos y la revista "Miniaturas" en España.
El 12 de marzo de 2007 funda con el Arquitecto Luis Larumbe “ULUS miniaturas” con el fin de integrar diferentes disciplinas artísticas, logrando un trabajo de sorprendente realismo y extraordinario detalle. José María Bolio was born at Mexico City in November 16 of 1966, graduate sculptor from the “Istituto Lorenzo de Medici” at Florence Italy, active member of the IPMS México since 1989 and professional miniaturist since 1992.
Recently recognized as an "Artisan" by the International Guild of Miniature Artisans.
Throughout of his trajectory has participated in more than 25 modelism competitions in Mexico, United States and United Kingdom.
Participant of different miniatures exhibitions organized by the Mexican Association of Minaturists and also in the United States in CIMTA (Cottage Industry Miniaturists Trade Association Inc.), IGMA (International Guild of Miniature Artisans Ltd.), Tom Bishop’s Chicago International and Philadelphia Miniaturia.
His work as a miniaturist has been published in several magazines such as the "Miniature Collector" in the United States and the magazine "Miniaturas" in spain.
In March 12 of 2007 creates “ULUS miniatures” along with the Architect Luis Larumbe with the intention to integrate different artistic disciplines, accomplishing a work with extraordinary realism, live miniatures who reflect the singular charm of an object capable of telling a story…
